I recently used Riight Moves for my move, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The team was punctual, professional, and well-organised (handling everything with great care and attention).

Communication was clear and precise from the very first contact. They worked efficiently and quickly; ensuring that all my belongings arrived safely and in perfect condition. Plus, their prices are fair and transparent (with no hidden costs or surprises).

One thing I particularly appreciated was their kindness: not only did they do their job flawlessly, but they also helped me carry some items into my home that weren’t even part of the move - simply out of generosity.

I was quoted £1400 for a 2 day packing and removal service.

On day 2 of the service I was not happy with part of the service. The boxes wasn't labelled correctly. The team said they know which one is which but clearly they didn't.

Also items wasn't handled with care and some of the items was left behind as we requested to move it.

Sat who leads the team got defensive when I questioned the service. He said it was disrespectful to say this as they are working hard to deliver a service.

Things took a turn in there was a disagreement and he said will withhold our goods until the balance is cleared. Although the terms and conditions says they have the right to do so ,but they didn't specific the reasons why they can withhold goods. Sadly we had no choice but to pay the rest of the balance to get our goods.

Their website says they are no hidden costs but that's inaccurate as I had to pay an extra £2000 for so called additional costs which they didn’t specify until the day of the service and when I received the invoice.

I would highly recommend not to use their services as they charge extortionate prices and prey on people who are in a desperate situation.

Read the other reviews, you'll see people with the same names - possibly related. They were also registered under other names (Royale Removals, Comparingmoves.com, Stress 3 Moves Ltd, J S Moves Ltd, Riight Moves Ltd - current company provides dissolved company number - to name a few). Royale Removals has google reviews that are identical to the scam that was pulled on me. It has since been dissolved but they seem to rotate between companies over time once the reviews catch up with them.

The issue is you will receive a quote that seems reasonable, even slightly below what other quotes are. Stop yourself. I received other quotes in addition to this one. They gave me a quote of £750 + £10/box packing. Based on my other quote of 40 boxes, this put the total amount about £150-£100 less. Final bill was £2650 including the 95 (!) tiny boxes they packed - TO MOVE A 2 BEDROOM FLAT. For example, one box had 1 pillow it in. £10 to move 1 pillow. Let that sink in.

Essentially, one of the brothers who own the business (Sat) said there are a few things not in the pictures some steps coming into the building he didn't know about and there may be an extra charge. I asked if he can tell me how much it will cost and he said, he will inventory it and the office needs to provide the quote. They finished all the packing (at this point they knew what contents we had) and continued to push for the quote - and he continued to deflect the request. As the the truck was nearly loaded, he said I need to pay the new amount or they won't move the items. He waited until the time where it was impossible to back out. You need to move out that day and good luck finding anyone to move you on such short notice. You WILL be put in a situation where you will have no choice but to pay any fee they demand.

Do yourself a favour and just go with a major moving company. Being scammed like this really adds more difficulty and stress to an already stressful situation.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: £2650

First off we were quoted £1250 which I accepted, however on arrival at our storage I was told if I didn’t pay another £550 they would unload. No choice to pay so I did but they somehow managed to leave quite a lot of stuff by the side of the road so my husband ending up sorting it out long after they left. Perhaps it was because of this that a number of items are now missing.

Broken items include: part of sofa, cupboard, electric keyboard, tv was packed in storage upside down so who knows if that works. To top it off they wrapped a piece of glass from garden furniture in my £400 rug!!!

Needless to say we used another company to move out of storage and they were disgusted at how things had just been dumped in.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: £1750

The move itself went very well, the lorries were packed quickly and the team was efficient. They arrived on time.

The dismantle service was good, they took apart our furniture quickly. Our items were transferred safely, so far no broken glasses! Pre move the company supplied us with some boxes as well.

The only gripe and why its not excellent was our furniture was not rebuilt very well. We left the guys to it and only later realised that the bed was missing it’s centre support and our dining table was rebuilt without the extendable leaf. He would have known how it was put together because he dismantled it in the first place.

I would use the company again, but next time watch them rebuild the furniture so it’s done to the standard.
